چکیده
Abstract Background Euphorbia is the largest genus in family Euphorbiaceae with a great biological and genetic diversity. The anti-trypanosomal activity of crude extract 15 species against Trypanosoma brucei was carried out. Furthermore, DNA fingerprinting tested using ISSR SCoT markers also investigated. Results revealed highest E. officinarum L. milli Des Moul. IC 50 values < 10 ?g/mL after 48- 72-h incubation. Moreover, assessment diversity among showed similar correlation coefficients 0.76–0.98 which classified into two main groups, one contained other 13 species. Conclusions Some exhibited significant growth inhibitory toward strain TC221. indicated suitability both for To our knowledge, this first detailed comparison performance targeted molecular (SCoT ISSR) on results guide future efficient use these analysis .

Extended Abstract Introduction: Capparis spinose is from Capparis genus, and Capparidaceae family includes 350 species. It is originated from Mediterranean region. Human as food uses entire parts of C. spinose as young stems, flower buds, fruit, and seed. Caper, trade name, has several species in Iran. C. spinose has a high capacity in international agriculture markets. Today, focused on Caper...
متن کاملIdentification of necrophagous fly species using ISSR and SCAR markers.
Necrophagous fly is the most common insect evidence collected during a death investigation. We analyzed the DNA polymorphism among the five forensically important fly species, namely, Lucilia sericata, Aldrichina grahami, Chrysomya megacephala, Parasarcophaga crassipalpis and Musca domestica using inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) method. Nine ISSR primers selected from 18 primers could ampli...
متن کاملDna Fingerprinting of Commercial Mushrooms by Issr and Ssr Markers for Genetic Discrimination
Research for new improved varieties, with high increase in yields and quality with disease resistance is required today to make mushroom production highly productive.Increasing the yield and quality of crops as well as resistance to diseases are the primary goals for mushroom breeders and mushroom research. Breeders now use DNA molecular markers to identify and select specific genes to locate s...
متن کاملGenetic variation, population structure and linkage disequilibrium in Switchgrass with ISSR, SCoT and EST-SSR markers
BACKGROUND To evaluate genetic variation, population structure, and the extent of linkage disequilibrium (LD), 134 switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) samples were analyzed with 51 markers, including 16 ISSRs, 20 SCoTs, and 15 EST-SSRs. RESULTS In this study, a high level of genetic variation was observed in the switchgrass samples and they had an average Nei's gene diversity index (H) of 0.311...
